Who We Are

Mapleview Animal Hospital, PC was founded in March of 1992. Striving to provide the best possible care to our animal friends, we became involved in rescue work. We have been placing animals for adoption for many years. We place both dogs and cats on a regular basis.

Kitten Fixin’ Blitz

We’re hosting a Kitten Fixin’ Blitz again this year. For several days each month, beginning in March and continuing through October, we’re offering discounted cat and kitten spays and neuters. The discount is 50% off the regular price. Kittens must be at least 3 months (12 weeks old). In addition, cats and kittens must be current on their rabies vaccination. Not vaccinated? Not to worry. We’re also offering rabies vaccinations for these same surgery patients at $13 for a 1-year vaccination. Surgeries, along with the rabies vaccination, are performed by appointment only. The dates for these surgeries are:

Heartworm Testing Package

It’s almost springtime and with spring comes the arrival of mosquitoes. It is important to have your dog checked for heartworms each year and to begin the monthly heartworm prevention.

We realize that financially, times are tough for many people so we are offering a discount to help out. Schedule an appointment for your dog for a heartworm test and purchase a minimum of 6 months of prevention at the same time. We’ll give you $6.00 off the price of the heartworm test.

If you chose to purchase 12 months of prevention, you’ll pay for 11 tablets and get the 12th one for free. In addition, Iverhart is offering a $3.00 off coupon with the purchase of 6 months of heartworm prevention. There are many opportunities for savings this spring!

The heartworm tests and prevention must all be for the same pet to be eligible for these savings. You may take advantage of these savings for each and every one of your dogs.

A huge thank you to all of our clients who helped us support Toys for Tots and Community Action House during December. Thanks to your generosity, Toys for Tots received 682 toys. Community Action House received 1600 non-perishable food items and toiletries. We are so proud of our wonderful clients for their support.

Guatemala

Dr Jim, Cindy and Teryn had an awesome time in Guatemala helping the people and pets of that country. During the course of the 5 days, they were able to spay/neuter over 115 animals. In addition, they performed other surgeries as needed while assisting at AWARE, a local animal shelter. To see photos of the trip, the countryside, and surgeries, click below.

Garage Sale

We're now accepting donations for the 3rd Annual Garage Sale to benefit Headin' Home Pet Rescue, Inc. The date of the sale is May 21, 2010 from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. We'll gladly accept your donations during business hours from now until May 14. Last year's sale was a huge success and we hope this one will be just as successful, if not more.

Petapalooza

Plans are in the works for the 7th Annual Petapalooza and Pet Fair. The date is Sunday, June 6, 2010 from noon - 4:00 pm at the Harbor Lights Middle School. Join us for an afternoon of interaction with local animal resuce groups, demonstrations, and games for the kids!
