There usually can be found a foster dog in residence as well.

I am Sophia Yin Certified in Low Stress Handling of Pets (which has helped me earn the nickname "The Chihuahua Whisperer"), and a Fear Free Certified Professional.  I strive daily to make sure that our patients and clients are as comfortable and at ease during their visits as possible and enjoy working with our clients to turn fearful visits into successful, enjoyable.

In addition to working at Mapleview, in 2003 I founded a foster based rescue, A New Start On Life.  In my spare time I enjoy reading, educating myself on new enrichment ideas for cats and dogs, cooking, and spending time with my family.

I graduated from Paragon School of Dog Grooming in 1999. Shortly after graduating, I began employment at Mapleview. I have shown many different breeds of dogs at shows and like to put a bit of dog show style into my grooming whenever I can. When not at work, I work with America's Best Frisbee Dogs putting on halftime Frisbee shows at football and basketball games as well as community events.

I began working at Mapleview Animal Hospital in 2005. I started in the boarding kennel and have progressed from there. I perform multiple tasks at Mapleview including being a veterinary assistant, kennel manager and reception. My favorite is being a veterinary assistant and assisting in surgery.

I have 2 wonderful boys, Jordan and Ethan. I enjoy spending time at Lake Michigan, reading, hanging out with my own dogs and volunteering for Headin' Home Pet Rescue. I am Fear Free Certified.

I joined the Mapleview team in September 2012. My favorite part of the job is assisting in surgeries, and working with all the different pets. I grew up with a variety of animals throughout my childhood and since then developed a care for animals in need.

When I'm not at the clinic, I spend most of my free time outdoors. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, riding my quad, barrel racing and building motors or working on my truck. I am the proud owner of a Blue Heeler, "Chief", a German Shorthaired Pointer, "Hank", and two horses, "Cash" and "Liberty".

I have worked at Mapleview since 2013. I started in the boarding kennel while still in high school and transitioned to the front desk and assisting as a vet tech. I am currently pursuing a degree as a Veterinary Technician from Penn-Foster.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, attending various rodeos and taking care of my horses. I am currently the assistant head coach for the West Ottawa Equestrian team. I am also a volunteer for Headin’ Home Pet Rescue.

I am the proud owner of 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 horses. I am a Fear Free Certified Professional.

I am a 2015 graduate of West Ottawa High School. I am taking a year or two off before attending college. I have a boyfriend that I've been in a relationship with for 2 years now. I love doing things outside like kayaking and camping with family and friends. I own 2 dogs, a 12 year old golden retriever and an 8 year old shitzu. I love working at Mapleview because I'm a huge animal lover, and it has helped me decide on the right career path for myself. I have been working for Mapleview for a year and a half now.

I graduated from Holland High School in 2015. I'm taking a couple years off before attending college. I've wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember. Working as a kennel worker at Mapleview has only made my love and appreciation for animals even greater. I have one pet, a 2 year old hamster named Klaus. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, reading, taking care of animals, and hiking.

I graduated from West Ottawa High School May 2016. I started working at Mapleview Animal Hospital in October of 2016. Currently, I am attending Stanley Harris School of Cosmetology. In my free time I enjoy riding my horses, hanging out with friends and family. At home, my family has three horses, a Yorkshire Terrier, a German Shepard and a couple of chickens and ducks.

I’ve been a part of the Mapleview Family since 2007. I was born and raised in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School. I attended GVSU as well as GRCC, where I got my associate degree in Business Administration, but always knew I wanted to end back up working with animals. Working in the kennel at the clinic was my first job when I was 16. You can still find me in the kennel often as being with dogs is what makes me the most happy. But I also work in the office assisting the doctors and doing reception work.

When I'm not at the clinic, you can find me volunteering most of my time at Headin’
Home Pet Rescue! I spend most of my free time with my dogs, Harper, Izzy, Brock
and Sugar Babe and usually have an extra foster dog or two visiting!

I joined the Mapleview team the summer of 2018. I’m originally from Chicago but since moving have enjoyed living in Michigan. I have two brother guinea pigs named Theodore and Wilburt. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my friends, and spoiling my guinea babies. Since working at Mapleview, I have found a passion for helping animals. I am currently attending Penn Foster to become a Veterinary Technician.

I recently joined the Mapleview team in February of 2019. I am learning the skills of what it takes to become a Vet Assistant as well as learning the front desk. I have grown up with animals my whole life and I currently own four horses of my own as well as the family dogs, goats, and cats. I like to spend most of my time in the outdoors riding horses, hunting and fishing. I am excited for this new journey at Mapleview Animal Hospital.

I started working at Mapleview Animal Hospital in April of 2016 after I retired from Gentex Corp. Being a country girl raised in Sparta, and my love for animals, this seemed like a perfect job. What I really love is the caring of the boarding cats along with all the rescue cats and kittens. In addition, the occasions when there are also small dogs and puppies. I have two daughters, Jodie & Korene (and son-in-law Ted), a son, Trevor, three grand children, Ben, Maelynn & Nikki, and one great grandson, Emmett. They're all the Rainbows & Music of my heart. I enjoy working outside on my yard, flower beds and garden, going for walks, reading, camping, fishing and kayaking. I have 2 wonderful dogs, Zoey & Brady. After working only one month at Mapleview I brought Brady home so he could heal better after leg surgery and he never left. Yep, I'm a foster failure!

I went to Zeeland Public schools and plan on pursuing an education to become a veterinary technician. I've loved connecting with animals since I got my first pet. I have 3 cats named Kirby, Patches and Cas. Outside of the clinic, I can be found painting or trying out new recipes.
